In the underworld, Hercules meets Charon the Boatman (Michael Hurst) who is surprised that Hercules is still alive. Things are in chaos there because Cerberus, the three-headed dog that guards the gate, is on the loose. Hercules is harassed by hideous ghouls, as well as by evil men he killed on previous adventures, including Eryx the boxer and Nessus, who tells him Deianeira is dead. When Nessus uses magic to show him a view of his wife in the Elysian fields, Hercules jumps through the ΓÇ£picture windowΓÇ¥ in an attempt to save his wife.
